Fara British Wool Sweater in Silver Grey
Fara British Wool Sweater in Silver Grey
We have named our Fara British Wool Sweater after the Scottish Gaelic name for Fair Isle.
Fair Isle is an island in Shetland, located in northern Scotland. The name means "fair island," "far-off isle," or "sheep isle". We thought it was apt that this soft, warm British wool fairisle design was named in it's honour.
The Norse name for Fair Isle is Friðarey, which means 'calm/peaceful isle' or 'island of tranquility'.
We are releasing this as part of our Advent collection; making a limited batch of 15 in each shade. The Fara is available to pre-order now with us, so you can have it made just for you in our studio in time for Christmas. All jumpers will be numbered and hand signed by our makers.
Orders will close on Friday 13th December or sooner if we reach capacity, and they will despatch to you w/c Monday 16th December.
