Naturally Dyed Cashmere Scarf in Weld
Naturally Dyed Cashmere Scarf in Weld
A delicate pointelle lace that we have designed for this Spring + Summer. A feminine stitch, in a simple square scarf, that can be worn as a neck tie as shown.
This is a high quality cashmere yarn, spun in Italy by one of the world's leading cashmere mills. It has been dyed using the plant weld, using ancient recipes passed down through generations. The beauty of nature is respected by the mill, and through advanced method, the extraction of colour is achieved, creating a yarn without the use of chemical substances.
The weld plant is grown in the Marche region in Italy, and produced under certified organic standards throughout the production cycle. Weld has been used as a dye since prehistoric times, dating back to the Neolithic age, as well as being used throughout Europe during the renaissance.
