OUBAS Knitwear Immersion Day

A day spent behind the scenes in our workshop, learning the processes we go through from raw yarn to finished garment to learn about knitwear design and production.

To increase our transparency and share knowledge - we are hosting workshops in our studio through 2024.

Start: 10 am Finish: 4 pm

• See our machinery in action
• Learn how we consciously choose our yarns and fibres
• Learn about different natural fibres and their properties
• A chance to meet and connect with like minded people
• Discussions on the day together
• Learn how to care and repair for your knitwear
• Gain insights into our inspiration and design process
• 6-8 participants for a unique 1-2-1 experience

Learn how we keep in integrity with the natural world through our collections, and learn about the local heritage of textiles in the Lake District, and England.

Refreshments are provided including lunch.

Travel: Our studio is a 15 minute walk from Ulverston train station. Free parking available.

Terms: Full payment required on booking. Full refund offered if you wish to cancel within 14 days of booking. 50% refund offered if cancelled 60 days before the event. We regret we cannot offer a refund within 60 days but may be able to transfer your booking if an alternative date is available.
