We champion natural fibres and use only sustainable materials, sourced from responsible farmers and producers. For our women’s woollen scarves and wraps we especially love British lambswool for its fine knit and super soft texture, as well as fine merino wool and gorgeous cashmere. When an item of clothing is going to be worn close to the skin, its important to consider the texture and feel of the materials used which is why women’s cashmere scarves especially are so popular. There’s nothing like the whisper of soft natural fibres close to your skin on a chilly day, expertly dyed to provide rich colour and beautifully weighted.
The scarves for women that we design and create in our workshop and studio in Cumbria come in plain or ribbed knit or classic knitwear patterns such as pointelle knit. Whether you prefer something simple and elegant or like a bit of feminine detailing, our woollen scarves are just so easy to wear. It’s important to us to design women’s knitwear products that transcend trends and stand up to the test of time, which is why we prefer understated patterns, natural colours and robust yarns.
