We use Geelong Lambswool as it is the finest micron lambswool (the measurement used to express the diameter of wool fibre) and has a luxurious handle similar to Cashmere. It is one of the softest lambswools in the world. It provides an elegant, comfortable fabric, with the woollen spinning process giving more warmth yet with lighter weight.
The mills we have selected to use for our Geelong Lambswool are based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and Yorkshire, England.
An original Donegal yarn. Carded, dyed, blended and spun in Donegal, Ireland. It is a traditionally woollen spun merino yarn, which allows the wool to keep its natural airy character, perfect for knitwear. We are licensed to issue a 'Certificate of Origin' card with each piece of our Donegal knitwear; proving it's heritage and guaranteeing that the product you purchase contains the genuine, unique, natural and original 'Donegal'.
